Global pop phenomenon KATSEYE is heading to movie theaters worldwide with KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, a limited theatrical event arriving August 12, just days before the release of the group’s highly anticipated third EP, WILD, on August 14. Tickets are on sale now, with the film offering fans an intimate look inside one of pop music’s fastest-rising international acts as they prepare for the next chapter of their career.
Produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in partnership with HYBE x Geffen, and directed by Nadia Hallgren, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS blends exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, personal interviews, and fan-submitted videos into a feature-length celebration of both the group and the passionate EYEKONS community that has fueled their rapid ascent.
Rather than functioning as a traditional concert film, WILD HEARTS chronicles the group’s evolution from the demanding training process of Dream Academy through their emergence as one of pop’s most exciting new global acts. The film revisits the sacrifices, setbacks, and defining moments that transformed six young performers into an internationally recognized group while highlighting the close relationship they have built with fans around the world.
The theatrical release arrives during what has already become a landmark year for KATSEYE. Following the success of their 2025 EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which debuted in the Top Five of the Billboard 200, the group has continued to expand its global profile through chart success, sold-out tours, festival appearances, and industry recognition.
Earlier this year, KATSEYE unveiled the energetic single “PINKY UP,” performing it live for the first time during the group’s debut appearance at Coachella. The track continued the confident, high-energy direction that has become synonymous with the group’s sound while offering fans an early glimpse into the musical world of WILD.
The group’s momentum extends well beyond streaming platforms. KATSEYE recently earned three American Music Awards, winning New Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Pop Artist, and Best Music Video for “Gnarly.” The group also received two GRAMMY nominations, including Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Gabriela,” further cementing its place among pop music’s most celebrated emerging acts.
KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS also serves as a companion piece to the upcoming EP WILD, giving audiences additional context ahead of its August 14 release. The project follows BEAUTIFUL CHAOS and continues the artistic evolution of a group that has consistently blurred the lines between Western pop and the global training model pioneered by K-pop. Formed through the groundbreaking HYBE x Geffen partnership and introduced to audiences through Netflix’s Pop Star Academy, KATSEYE represents one of the music industry’s most ambitious international collaborations, bringing together members from the United States, Europe, Asia, and beyond.
Fans attending the theatrical event can also purchase the WILD HEARTS Exclusive Fandango Bundle, which includes a movie ticket alongside a limited-edition WILD HEARTS Photocard Set created exclusively for EYEKONS collectors.

The film also arrives just weeks before the launch of KATSEYE: THE WILDWORLD TOUR, which begins on September 1. The global arena tour has already sold out, underscoring the extraordinary demand surrounding the group’s next era.
Distributed globally by Trafalgar Releasing, the company behind successful theatrical events for artists including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, BTS, Coldplay, and Metallica, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS continues the growing trend of artists bringing exclusive fan experiences to movie theaters around the world.
With a new EP, a sold-out world tour, and now a cinematic celebration of their journey, KATSEYE are entering the biggest chapter of their career to date. KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS gives longtime EYEKONS and new audiences alike an opportunity to experience the group’s remarkable rise before WILD officially arrives, capturing a pivotal moment for one of global pop’s fastest-growing acts.
