KATSEYE aren’t easing into their next era. They’re stepping on it.
The global girl group has announced their third EP, WILD, set for release August 14 via HYBE x Geffen Records, marking their first major project since 2025’s BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200.
The rollout arrives at a moment where the group’s momentum is already peaking. Fresh off their Coachella debut, KATSEYE returns to the Sahara stage on April 17, doubling down on a performance that critics and audiences immediately locked in as one of the festival’s standout moments.
That set wasn’t just spectacle. It was positioning.
Live, the group introduced “PINKY UP,” a hyperpop-leaning track that leans sharper and more chaotic than their earlier material, signaling a shift toward something louder and less polished in the traditional pop sense. The response was immediate, with the single quickly rising as a fan favorite and pulling attention across major outlets.
Offstage, the recognition is stacking just as fast. KATSEYE recently landed three American Music Awards nominations, including New Artist of the Year and Breakthrough Pop Artist, a sign that their reach is expanding well beyond the usual genre lanes.

What’s always separated KATSEYE is the structure behind them. Built through HYBE and Geffen’s global training system and introduced via Pop Star Academy, the group was engineered from the start to operate across markets, languages, and audiences. Now, that framework is starting to pay off in real time.
With festival dates lined up at Governors Ball, Head In The Clouds, and Hinterland, plus a track record of sold-out touring, WILD doesn’t feel like a reset. It feels like escalation.
And if Coachella was any indication, they’re not planning on playing it safe.
