Electronic duo TOMORA, the new collaboration between Aurora and Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers, have released their latest single “Somewhere Else.” The track arrives alongside an official music video and continues the rollout for the duo’s upcoming debut album Come Closer, due April 17 via Capitol Records.
“Somewhere Else” showcases the distinctive sound that defines TOMORA’s collaboration. Aurora’s atmospheric vocals lead the track’s opening moments before Rowlands’ production builds into a powerful electronic rhythm, blending shimmering melodies with heavy, festival-ready beats.
Aurora described the song as an early turning point for the project.
“‘Somewhere Else’ is one of the first songs we ever wrote as TOMORA,” she said. “It opened up a big door for us into our world.”
Rowlands added that the melody immediately stuck with him after hearing Aurora’s first demo.
“Ever since Aurora sang that melody to me it’s been running around my head brightening my day,” Rowlands said. “We played an early version at Glastonbury and it felt like magic.”
The single follows TOMORA’s previously released tracks “Ring the Alarm” and “Come Closer,” which introduced the project and drew early praise from legacy media outlets.

Interest around TOMORA first grew when the name appeared on the Coachella 2026 lineup poster, sparking speculation before the collaboration was officially revealed. The duo will make their U.S. live debut at Coachella, performing on April 12 and April 19.
During Coachella week, TOMORA will also perform two California shows, including The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on April 14 and The El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on April 16.
Their debut album Come Closer features 12 tracks and will be released digitally as well as on CD, standard vinyl, and limited-edition colored vinyl.
The project builds on a creative relationship that began during sessions for The Chemical Brothers’ 2019 album No Geography, where Aurora appeared on multiple tracks. With TOMORA, Aurora and Rowlands expand that partnership into a fully realized electronic project built for festival stages and dance floors.
