Passion Pit have announced their 2026 North American summer tour, marking the return of the Michael Angelakos-led indie pop project with a full run of headline shows and major festival appearances. The Passion Pit 2026 tour also arrives with confirmation that new music is on the way.
The tour launches in June and runs through mid-August, hitting key markets across the U.S. including New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, Seattle, and Los Angeles. Festival appearances include Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Summerfest, and Minnesota Yacht Club Festival, positioning the run as both a festival circuit and standalone headline tour.
A West Coast stretch closes the routing, with stops at Oakland’s Fox Theater on August 16 and The Bellwether in Los Angeles on August 18, two rooms that signal a deliberate scale rather than a nostalgia-driven arena push.
Angelakos will perform alongside a full live band featuring Giuliano Pizzulo, Eric Scullin, Denzel Cox, and Ben Barter. The setlist is expected to pull from across the catalog while introducing new material, reinforcing Passion Pit’s ability to move between eras without flattening their sound into a greatest-hits cycle.

The timing is not accidental. A 2025 rework of “Sleepyhead” with Sofi Tukker reintroduced the project to a wider audience, while the 15th anniversary vinyl release of Manners reframed the band’s early work within a current context. Those releases function less as nostalgia plays and more as a reset ahead of new material.
Upcoming releases include the Pretty Penny EP, positioned as a companion to the early Chunk of Change era while reflecting Angelakos’ evolution as a producer and songwriter. It also signals a broader rollout of new Passion Pit music, including material recorded with the full band.
Beyond music, Angelakos remains a visible advocate for mental health within the industry through his work with the Wishart Group, an initiative focused on providing support for artists navigating the pressures of the music business.
Tickets for the Passion Pit 2026 tour are available now, with additional releases and updates expected as new music begins to roll out.
