Angèle and Justice have released their new single “What You Want,” marking the first collaboration between the Belgian pop star and the French electronic duo. The track is out now via Angèle VL Records and Because Music and arrives alongside a cinematic music video directed by the acclaimed collective (LA)HORDE.
“What You Want” blends Angèle’s sleek pop sensibility with Justice’s muscular electronic production, creating a track that feels both sensual and explosive. Built around driving synths and an urgent beat, the song captures the tension between desire, adrenaline, and emotional release. Angèle moves between English and French lyrics as the track builds toward a powerful club-ready crescendo.
The collaboration between Angèle and Justice began in late 2024 after the singer attended a Justice show in Brussels. Following the performance, she met Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé backstage and invited them to her studio to revisit a demo she had written but never fully developed. Justice reworked the track with their signature French Touch energy, adding scale, tension, and a darker electronic edge while preserving Angèle’s intimate vocal delivery.
The release follows a major year for Angèle, including her viral performance during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she joined Phoenix and Kavinsky for a high-energy version of “Nightcall” that quickly dominated Shazam charts worldwide. After billions of streams, international fashion campaigns, and performances at major festivals including Coachella, the new single signals another step in her continued global rise.

The “What You Want” music video, directed by (LA)HORDE, was filmed overnight in the streets of Marseille using an iPhone 17 Pro. The visual follows dancer Nora Monsecour through a restless nighttime chase that moves between laundromats, bars, and dim city streets. The choreography-driven narrative explores desire, empowerment, and movement while Angèle appears as a magnetic figure navigating the nocturnal landscape.
Justice, known for defining the global French Touch electronic sound with tracks like “D.A.N.C.E.” and “Waters of Nazareth,” bring their signature cinematic intensity to the collaboration. Together, Angèle and Justice deliver a sleek electronic pop anthem that feels both contemporary and rooted in the legacy of French electronic music.
With “What You Want,” Angèle continues to expand her global influence, proving once again that her pop instincts translate seamlessly across genres and audiences.
