After five years away from releasing a solo EP, Los Angeles electronic artist Nala returns with Find Your Paradise, a four-track collection that transforms personal healing into dancefloor-ready house music. Released independently through her own Mi Domina Records imprint, the project marks a new creative chapter built on artistic freedom, emotional honesty, and the restorative power of movement.
Rather than chasing trends, Find Your Paradise is rooted in experiences that helped Nala reconnect with herself during periods of anxiety and digital burnout. Inspired by time spent outdoors, genuine human connection, and the communal energy of nightlife, the EP combines disco-influenced grooves, infectious rhythms, and uplifting production into a project designed to make listeners both dance and decompress.
Nala describes the release as a form of medicine, explaining that the songs were written during a period when stepping away from constant online noise became essential to her well-being. That philosophy runs throughout the EP, positioning music as both an escape and a reminder that healing often happens through shared experiences rather than endless scrolling.
The project also represents an important professional milestone. Find Your Paradise is the first solo release issued entirely through Mi Domina Records, the label Nala owns and operates herself. By self-funding and independently releasing the EP, she maintained complete creative control over every aspect of the project, from the music and visuals to the overall artistic direction. The decision reflects her growing commitment to building a sustainable career on her own terms while supporting a creative community around her independent imprint.
The release follows one of the busiest years of Nala’s career. She appeared at Coachella with her collaborative project Girl Math, toured throughout the United States alongside Malugi and Solomun, and continued receiving regular support from BBC Radio 1. Those accomplishments have further established her reputation as one of dance music’s rising talents, known for blending underground club energy with melodic songwriting and genre-crossing production.

Over the past several years, Nala has steadily expanded her profile through performances at festivals including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, and EDC, while sharing stages with artists such as Dom Dolla, John Summit, and Solomun. Her official remixes for Dom Dolla and Nelly Furtado, recognition as a Beatport Next Artist, and continued support from Mixmag and BBC Radio 1 have positioned her among electronic music’s most exciting independent voices.
With Find Your Paradise, Nala delivers more than a dance EP. It serves as a reminder that electronic music can create spaces for joy, healing, and authentic connection while showcasing an artist confidently shaping her own future through independence and creative ownership.
