BottleRock Napa Valley is extending its reach beyond the festival grounds with BottleRock AfterDark, a series of intimate shows spanning Napa, Berkeley, San Francisco, Menlo Park, and Novato. The run kicks off May 19th and carries through the festival weekend and beyond, featuring a mix of BottleRock artists and special guests across some of the Bay Area’s best small venues.
The lineup is a good one. LCD Soundsystem plays Napa Music Hall on May 22nd. Rilo Kiley hits The Uptown Theatre in Napa the same night. BØRNS has three dates across the run, including stops at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park, UC Theatre in Berkeley, and The Uptown Theatre in Napa. Larkin Poe, Bush, Better Than Ezra, The Beths, and The Paper Kites round out a bill that covers a lot of sonic ground without feeling scattered.

Several of the Napa shows at the Uptown Theatre and Napa Music Hall are walking distance from the BottleRock festival grounds, making them a natural extension of the main event for festivalgoers looking to keep the night going after the main stages shut down. For Bay Area fans who aren’t making the trip to Napa, the San Francisco and Berkeley dates offer a way into the BottleRock universe without the full festival commitment.
BottleRock Napa Valley itself runs May 22 through 24 at the Napa Valley Expo, headlined by Foo Fighters, Backstreet Boys, Lorde, Teddy Swims, and LCD Soundsystem among more than 75 acts.

Tickets for the AfterDark series go on sale February 25th at 10am PT at bottlerocknapavalley.com.
