Ice Spice is keeping her foot on the gas with “Out My Face (My Baby),” a new collaboration with Lil Yachty that brings two of rap’s most recognizable personalities together for the first time in this configuration.
Released via 10K Projects and Capitol Records, “Out My Face (My Baby)” arrives alongside an official music video directed by AMD and Little Miles, the latter being Lil Yachty himself. The visual stars Ice Spice and Yachty and expands the collaboration into their respective creative circles, with cameos from Gio, Karrahbooo, Concrete Boys, Che Mario and others.
The pairing makes sense for two artists whose careers have increasingly resisted being contained by rap alone. Ice Spice’s stripped-down Bronx delivery and pop instincts have allowed her to move easily between drill, dembow and soundtrack records, while Yachty has spent much of the past several years deliberately testing the limits of his own sound. “Out My Face (My Baby)” puts those distinct approaches in the same room while continuing Ice Spice’s recent streak of collaborations and standalone releases.
The single follows “Big Guy,” Ice Spice’s contribution to The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. The track took on a life well beyond the film after spawning a major TikTok dance trend, with more than 4.1 billion views across 4.9 million TikTok creations, according to her team. It also reached No. 2 on TikTok’s Trending Songs chart and topped YouTube’s Daily Top Videos, YouTube Shorts’ Weekly Top Songs and Snapchat’s Sounds Chart while generating approximately 13 million global streams per week.
Before that, Ice Spice joined Dominican artist Tokischa for “Thootie,” pushing her sound toward dembow, and released “Baddie Baddie,” accompanied by a visual assembled around her appearances during Paris Fashion Week. Together, the releases point toward an increasingly flexible period for an artist who first broke internationally through the sparse New York drill of “Munch (Feelin’ U).”
That evolution has been happening outside the recording studio as well. Ice Spice is simultaneously entering the fragrance market with In Ha Mood, a new scent available exclusively through Ulta Beauty. Named after her 2023 breakout single, the fruity floral amber fragrance includes Queen Royale Accord, an exclusive note developed specifically for the product, alongside majestic rose and vanilla absolute.
The fragrance is a natural extension of an artist whose ascent has always been as visual as it is musical. From fashion campaigns and Paris Fashion Week to film and major brand partnerships, Ice Spice has spent the years since “Munch” developing an identity that can travel well beyond a conventional album cycle.
Lil Yachty arrives at “Out My Face (My Baby)” with a similarly broad definition of what a rap career can look like. The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum Atlanta artist has built a catalog around stylistic movement rather than predictability, shifting between melodic rap, pop and increasingly experimental territory while maintaining a parallel presence across fashion, media and business.

For Ice Spice, the collaboration adds another high-profile name to a catalog already containing records with Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, PinkPantheress, Travis Scott, Rema, Central Cee, Tokischa, KATSEYE and Latto. More importantly, it continues the pattern of experimentation that has become increasingly apparent in her post-Y2K! output.
“Out My Face (My Baby)” may arrive as a standalone collaboration, but it also catches Ice Spice in the middle of a broader expansion. Music, movies, fashion and now fragrance are increasingly operating as parts of the same ecosystem. The Bronx rapper who became unavoidable through “Munch” is no longer simply trying to maintain the viral momentum that introduced her to the world. She is building a much larger pop-cultural footprint around it.
