British electronic collective Jungle unveil their latest single, “Someday, Somewhere,” alongside a new music video, while announcing global tour dates supporting their fifth studio album, Sunshine, arriving August 14.
Jungle continue building anticipation for their forthcoming album Sunshine with the release of “Someday, Somewhere,” an uplifting new single that captures the band’s signature blend of disco, funk, soul, and electronic production. Released alongside an official music video, the track serves as the third preview of the trio’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, due August 14 via AWAL.
The song first surfaced during Tom McFarland’s surprise DJ set at Paris’ iconic Bus Palladium before making its official debut. Anchored by Lydia Kitto’s soulful vocal performance, “Someday, Somewhere” pairs shimmering synth textures with sun-drenched grooves, delivering the optimistic, dancefloor-ready sound that has become synonymous with Jungle.
“‘Someday, Somewhere’ is about holding onto that feeling that something better is coming,” the band explains. “It’s got that late-summer Jungle optimism, a little bit of longing, a little bit of escape, and hopefully something people can lose themselves in.”
The new single continues to reveal the sonic direction of Sunshine, an album positioned as the follow-up to 2023’s critically acclaimed Volcano. That record earned widespread praise, culminated in Jungle receiving the BRIT Award for Group of the Year, and produced the Platinum-certified global hit “Back On 74,” which became one of the band’s biggest crossover successes through streaming platforms and social media.
Originally founded by Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, who met as children in London’s Shepherd’s Bush, Jungle has steadily evolved from a mysterious production duo into one of modern dance music’s most celebrated live acts. With Lydia Kitto officially joining as a permanent member in 2023, the group has expanded both its creative identity and its live performance dynamic while maintaining the cinematic visual aesthetic that helped define its early years.
The band’s résumé continues to grow. Their Mercury Prize-nominated, Gold-certified self-titled debut established Jungle as one of Britain’s most exciting new acts, while subsequent albums For Ever, Loving In Stereo, and Volcano further cemented their reputation for a sound entirely their own.
Sunshine features eleven tracks, including previously released songs alongside “Someday, Somewhere,” showcasing a brighter, more expansive musical palette that leans into themes of optimism, movement, and emotional connection.

Following the album’s release, Jungle will embark on an extensive 2026 world tour beginning September 9 in Minneapolis. The North American run includes arena performances at Barclays Center in New York, Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, two nights at Berkeley’s Greek Theatre, and a sold-out appearance at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre before continuing across Europe with headline dates in London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan, Dublin, and beyond. Australian dates will follow in March 2027.
Having already performed for more than 190,000 fans during their previous global tour, Jungle’s latest run marks another significant milestone for a band that has steadily grown into one of contemporary music’s premier live performers. Known for choreography-driven stage productions, seamless musicianship, and infectious grooves, their concerts continue attracting audiences well beyond traditional electronic music circles.
With “Someday, Somewhere,” Jungle once again demonstrates why they remain one of the most consistent and innovative acts operating at the intersection of electronic, soul, funk, and indie music. As Sunshine approaches, the band appears poised to deliver another soundtrack built equally for festival stages, late-night dance floors, and endless summer playlists.
