Ladytron have released their new album Paradises, marking their eighth studio album and a major return for the long-running electronic pop group.
Out now via Nettwerk, Paradises is a sixteen-track release that functions as a double album, expanding the band’s sound while maintaining the precision that has defined their catalog for more than two decades. The project arrives fully formed, with a clear sense of direction that avoids both nostalgia and overcorrection, instead leaning into what Ladytron do best.
The Paradises album was written and recorded across Liverpool, São Paulo, Montrose, and London, reflecting a globally shaped creative process. Unlike previous releases that pulled from material accumulated over time, this record was built from the ground up in a concentrated writing period. That shift is noticeable. The album feels cohesive, immediate, and deliberately constructed rather than pieced together.
Sonically, Paradises pushes forward the dance-driven elements that have always threaded through Ladytron’s work. Proto-house, early electro, and disco influences are no longer subtle references but central components. Tracks move between sleek, melodic hooks and darker, more atmospheric passages, creating a balance between accessibility and depth. There is a polished surface here, but underneath it, the production remains rooted in analog textures and hardware experimentation.

Standout moments across the Paradises album include the hypnotic “Caught in the Blink of an Eye,” the high-gloss disco pulse of “I Believe in You,” and the cinematic sweep of “Evergreen,” which highlights the band’s ability to scale their sound without losing control. Each track contributes to a larger sonic arc, reinforcing the album’s structure as a complete listening experience rather than a collection of singles.
The release of Paradises also arrives alongside newly announced 2026 tour dates. Ladytron will bring their live show to North America with stops in Los Angeles, Berkeley, Seattle, Portland, and Denver, following a run of UK performances. Select dates will see the band joining Gary Numan on tour.
With Paradises, Ladytron deliver an album that feels expansive without losing focus, reinforcing their role as architects of modern electronic pop while continuing to evolve their sound.
