St. Vincent will perform with the San Francisco Symphony on July 30, 2026, at Davies Symphony Hall, bringing her catalog into a full orchestral setting for a limited-run performance in San Francisco. The one-night concert pairs the Grammy-winning artist with conductor and arranger Jules Buckley, known for reworking contemporary music through large-scale orchestration.
The St. Vincent San Francisco Symphony performance will feature reimagined versions of songs spanning her discography, including Marry Me, Actor, Strange Mercy, St. Vincent, MASSEDUCTION, Daddy’s Home, and All Born Screaming. Rather than simply expanding the sound, the orchestral format shifts the focus toward structure and composition, allowing the material to be heard in a different way.
Buckley’s involvement suggests a more deliberate transformation. His arrangements tend to reframe songs rather than decorate them, using the orchestra as an active force within the music. In collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony, the performance is expected to move beyond a standard crossover concert and into something more interpretive.
For St. Vincent, whose work has consistently moved between art rock, pop, and experimental textures, the orchestral format aligns naturally with her approach. Her music often carries a cinematic quality, but this setting strips away studio layering in favor of live interplay, placing greater emphasis on dynamics, tension, and space.

The July 30 concert stands out as a rare Bay Area appearance within a limited series of orchestral shows, positioning it as a high-demand event for both longtime fans and audiences drawn to symphonic reinterpretations. The crossover between indie rock and classical performance continues to expand, but events at this scale and level of collaboration remain relatively uncommon.
Tickets for St. Vincent with the San Francisco Symphony go on sale to the general public Friday, March 20 at 10 AM, with presale access beginning March 19 for 2025–26 Symphony subscribers. The performance is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM at Davies Symphony Hall.
