The Winter Music Conference 2026 has released its final wave of programming, locking in a three-day schedule that pulls together artists, executives, and platforms shaping the next phase of global dance music.
Taking over the Kimpton EPIC Hotel from March 24 through 26, the conference continues to position itself as a working hub rather than a nostalgia circuit. The expanded two-track format, split between industry and creator programming, reflects how fractured and fast-moving the electronic music ecosystem has become.

At the center is a keynote conversation featuring Armin van Buuren alongside Apple Music’s Stephen Campbell and Tim Sweeney. Framed around the future of DJ mixes, the discussion cuts directly into the tension between algorithm-driven discovery and human curation, a dynamic that now defines how electronic music circulates globally.
Programming across the week leans heavily into craft and longevity. Sasha, Dubfire, Alison Wonderland, and Danny Daze will headline a panel focused on the architecture of a DJ set, from track selection to narrative pacing. It is a reminder that beyond spectacle, the fundamentals still matter.
Elsewhere, Laidback Luke and Joachim Garraud will explore spatial audio and immersive performance, while sessions led by artists and platform leaders dig into AI-assisted production, fan ownership, and the economics of independence. The throughline is clear: technology is reshaping everything, but control remains the real question.

Outside the conference rooms, WMC extends into Miami Music Week with its Beatport Live pool series. Artists including Danny Tenaglia, DJ Minx, and Skream will anchor three days of daytime programming, where ideas discussed on panels are tested in real time on the dancefloor.
New additions like the A&R Pop-Up Lounge and expanded networking mixers push the conference further into direct access, connecting artists with labels, distributors, and platforms without the usual barriers. It is less about visibility and more about proximity to decision-making.
The International Dance Music Awards will close out the week, but the real value of WMC 2026 sits in the overlap between conversation and execution. In a landscape where electronic music evolves faster than most industries can track, this remains one of the few spaces where those shifts are not just discussed but actively negotiated.
