The Lemon Twigs have announced their sixth studio album, Look For Your Mind!, arriving May 8 via Captured Tracks, alongside a full slate of 2026 North American and UK tour dates.
The Long Island band, led by brothers Brian D’Addario and Michael D’Addario, continue to refine their blend of classic pop songwriting and layered studio craft, but this time the process opens outward. For the first time, live band members Reza Matin (drums) and Danny Ayala (bass) are fully integrated into the recording sessions, along with Eva Chambers of Tchotchke. The shift gives the record more movement and less isolation than earlier releases.
Underneath its bright, melodic surface, Look For Your Mind! leans into a quieter tension. The songwriting remains immediate, but the themes circle anxiety, control, and the effort of holding onto clarity in a moment that feels increasingly unstable. It is a subtle pivot, but an intentional one.
That direction builds directly on Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024), two records that reset the band’s trajectory and narrowed their focus. Where those albums re-centered their sound, this one expands it, without losing discipline. The core remains the same: tightly constructed songs that reward repeat listens.
The lead single, “I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You,” captures that balance. It plays like a straightforward pop song at first, but there is a sense of unease beneath it, the kind of emotional layering that has become a defining trait of the band’s recent work.

The Lemon Twigs will support the album with an extensive 2026 tour, including stops in Toronto, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco, where they play The Fillmore on June 17.
At this stage, The Lemon Twigs are not chasing reinvention. They are tightening their instincts, expanding their process, and letting the songs carry more weight on their own.
