HYBE x Geffen have formally introduced SAINT SATINE, the latest global girl group to emerge from their expanding international pipeline, revealed during the finale of World Scout: The Final Piece, which streamed via ABEMA.
The four-member lineup brings together familiar faces and a new standout. Emily, Lexie, and Samara first gained traction through Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, where their performances translated into a fast-growing global audience. Now, they are joined by Sakura, a 16-year-old finalist selected from more than 14,000 applicants in Japan, marking the final piece of the group’s formation.
The reveal lands alongside the release of World Scout: The Final Piece – Finale, a two-track digital project that documents the final stage of the competition while doubling as an introduction to SAINT SATINE’s sound. Leading the release is “Party b4 the Party,” a high-impact, rhythm-driven track built around sharp percussion, bass shifts, and a kinetic sense of build. The song leans into anticipation rather than aftermath, framing the pre-party moment as the emotional peak.
In contrast, “WE RIDE,” featuring runner-up Ayana alongside the group, pulls from early 2000s R&B textures, trading urgency for restraint. The track’s layered harmonies and smoother pacing offer a clearer look at the group’s vocal blend and tonal range.

Conceptually, SAINT SATINE is being positioned with a dual identity. The name itself signals a balance between precision and softness, with “SAINT” pointing toward discipline and performance control, while “SATINE” suggests polish and fluidity. It is a familiar HYBE framework, but one that continues to resonate across global markets.
The group arrives as part of HYBE x Geffen’s broader strategy to build internationally fluent pop acts, following the success of KATSEYE. With a built-in audience, cross-market visibility, and a tightly controlled rollout, SAINT SATINE enters the space already operating at scale. What remains to be seen is how that translates beyond the launch cycle, once the concept has to carry real weight.
