KATSEYE are stepping into Coachella 2026 with momentum. The global girl group has released their new single “Pinky Up” just days before their debut set, marking their latest move in a rapid ascent that has already positioned them as one of the most talked-about new acts in pop.
Built around sharp percussion, a heavy bassline, and sleek synth production, “Pinky Up” leans into a confident, punk-tinged pop sound. The track’s message is direct and intentional, centered on self-assurance, freedom, and living without hesitation. Produced by dwilly, “hitman” bang, and FRANTS, the song continues KATSEYE’s pattern of pairing polished pop structure with a more experimental edge.
The official video pushes that identity further. Directed by Bardia Zeinali, the visual transforms everyday environments into stylized, hyper-controlled spaces where the group dictates the narrative. The concept is simple but effective: take the familiar and reframe it through confidence and attitude. The rollout has already extended across MTV Live, MTVU, and Times Square billboards, reinforcing the scale behind the release.
KATSEYE’s Coachella debut arrives at a critical moment in their trajectory. Formed through HYBE and Geffen Records’ Dream Academy, the six-member group was designed from the ground up as a global act. With members representing the U.S., Europe, and Asia, their identity reflects a cross-market strategy that is increasingly defining the next phase of mainstream pop.
That strategy is already working. Their EP Beautiful Chaos debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200, followed by a completely sold-out tour and major industry recognition, including GRAMMY nominations and features across Vogue, The Cut, and The Washington Post.

Following Coachella, KATSEYE will continue their 2026 run with performances at The Governors Ball, Hinterland Music Festival, and Head In The Clouds, where they are set to headline.
“Pinky Up” lands less like a standalone single and more like a positioning statement. KATSEYE are arriving with a clear identity, a global framework, and a release strategy built for scale.
