Berlin producer and DJ Marlon Hoffstadt has released his new album, Das Ist Daddy, an eight-track collection built around the high-energy club sound that has helped turn him into one of electronic music’s fastest-rising global acts.
Released via Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3, Das Ist Daddy features collaborations with Rose Gray, Niko Rubio, TAET and Alex Chapman, alongside previously released singles “Party People” and “Get Buck.” The album arrives in the middle of Hoffstadt’s packed 2026 touring schedule, which will bring him to Portola Music Festival in San Francisco on September 27 following an appearance at CRSSD Music Festival in San Diego.
The album takes its title from the phrase Hoffstadt displayed across the Sahara Stage during his Coachella debut in April. Translating to “This Is Daddy,” Das Ist Daddy channels the communal, fan-driven atmosphere of his live sets into eight tracks designed squarely for the dance floor.
Album opener “Party People” connects Hoffstadt’s contemporary rave sound to dance music history through samples of Marshall Jefferson’s 1986 house classic “Move Your Body” and The Puppies’ “Hokey Pokey II.” Footage from Hoffstadt’s Coachella performance was subsequently incorporated into the song’s official video.
The album moves through Hoffstadt’s combination of heavy kicks, euphoric melodies and unabashedly maximalist dance production while making room for a series of vocal collaborations.
“My Darlin’” features British singer and songwriter Rose Gray, while “On My Mind” pairs Hoffstadt with Niko Rubio. “Shuga” closes the album with contributions from TAET and Alex Chapman.
“Get Buck” finds Hoffstadt collaborating with producers Tobias Wincorn and Vaughn Oliver, who also worked with him on “One Time For The DJ.” The track adds brass elements to Hoffstadt’s pounding club framework, widening the sonic palette without sacrificing the physical energy at the center of his music.
That approach has increasingly pushed Hoffstadt beyond the European rave circuit. Mixmag recently described the Berlin producer as “a global dance phenomenon, a defining DJ of the now,” while his 2026 calendar includes major festivals and club dates throughout Europe and the United States.
Following the release of Das Ist Daddy, Hoffstadt continues an extensive international run that includes WECANDANCE Festival in Belgium, Positiv Festival in France, Boomtown in the U.K., Ibiza’s UNVRS and Madrid’s FABRIK.

His U.S. return begins September 26 at CRSSD Music Festival in San Diego, followed one day later by Portola Music Festival in San Francisco on September 27. Hoffstadt will then return to the United States in November for EDC Orlando.
The Portola appearance gives Bay Area audiences a chance to hear Das Ist Daddy in the environment it was made for. With Hoffstadt’s profile continuing to grow internationally, the album captures an artist leaning fully into the communal rush that has transformed his DJ sets into increasingly massive events.
