Minneapolis indie rock band Porch Light are taking a major step forward with the announcement of The Hush Tour, their first-ever North American headlining tour. Launching September 22 in Dallas, Texas, the expansive run finds the fast-rising five-piece playing their largest venues to date, including The Troubadour in Los Angeles, Bowery Ballroom in New York City, Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco, and Lincoln Hall in Chicago.
The tour announcement arrives as Porch Light continue building momentum behind their latest single, “Arctic,” released via Mom + Pop. The song marks the band’s first new music of 2026 and offers another glimpse into their forthcoming debut album, expected later this year.
“Arctic” finds Porch Light leaning into the emotionally charged indie rock that has fueled their rapid ascent. Driven by shimmering guitars and an urgent vocal performance from Jackie Uhas, the track explores the complicated space between commitment and longing, capturing the desire for a deeper emotional connection even within an existing relationship. The band’s signature balance of vulnerability and soaring melodies remains intact, while the song hints at a broader, more ambitious sound as they prepare for their first full-length release.
Porch Light’s rise has been unusually swift. Formed in Minneapolis by Jackie Uhas (vocals), Zac Fogarty (guitar), Henry Hughes (bass), Kyle Siemon (guitar), and Tony O’Keefe (drums), the band’s origin story began when the four instrumentalists discovered Uhas singing karaoke at a local bar and immediately invited her to join the group. That spontaneous decision quickly evolved into one of indie rock’s fastest-growing success stories.
The band’s breakthrough accelerated with the release of their second EP, Navy Blue, which introduced a growing audience to emotionally direct songs built around expansive guitars and anthemic choruses. Standout single “Oxygen” became a breakout hit across social media, generating more than 10 million views and surpassing 500,000 streams within its first three days. Combined with a social media audience now exceeding 715,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram, Porch Light has developed a dedicated fanbase that has eagerly awaited new music throughout 2026.
Unlike many artists whose popularity remains largely digital, Porch Light has translated that online enthusiasm into sold-out venues across North America. Previous tours alongside Arcy Drive, Spacey Jane, Goth Babe, and Quarters introduced the band to increasingly larger audiences, while headline performances in cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis established them as one of indie rock’s most promising emerging live acts.

Before launching The Hush Tour, Porch Light will spend the summer performing at several of North America’s biggest music festivals. Their schedule includes appearances at Hinterland, Lollapalooza, and Shaky Knees, along with a July 31 performance supporting Momma at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall.
The fall headlining run represents the band’s most ambitious tour to date, spanning more than 30 cities across the United States and Canada. Highlights include stops in Austin, Phoenix, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Nashville, Philadelphia, Toronto, Montréal, Boston, and New York, giving fans their first opportunity to experience Porch Light’s largest production yet.
With a debut album on the horizon, a rapidly expanding audience, and their biggest tour to date now confirmed, Porch Light are entering a defining moment in their career. “Arctic” demonstrates a band continuing to refine its emotionally resonant songwriting while embracing a larger sonic palette, and The Hush Tour offers the clearest indication yet that Porch Light’s breakout moment is no longer approaching, it’s already underway.
