Anyma’s highly anticipated Coachella debut didn’t go as planned.
Strong winds forced the cancellation of multiple performances across the festival grounds Friday night, including Anyma’s scheduled set, cutting short what was supposed to be the live debut of his new “ÆDEN” show. Safety concerns around stage production and high winds have led to similar shutdowns at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in past years, and this time was no exception.
The timing is rough, but not entirely derailing. Anyma is still scheduled to return for Weekend 2, where he’s expected to attempt the full rollout again, visuals, staging, and all.
That puts even more weight on “Bad Angel,” his new collaboration with LISA, which dropped just ahead of the festival.
The track sits right in the overlap between both artists. Anyma keeps the production tight and cinematic, leaning into the same polished, immersive sound design that’s defined his recent work, while LISA comes in controlled and deliberate, not overextending, just cutting cleanly through the mix.
It’s built for scale, but not in a blunt way. The tension is what carries it. There’s movement, but it never fully explodes, which makes sense given how much of Anyma’s current output is tied to visual performance as much as the music itself.
The video follows that same logic. LISA is placed inside hyper-digital environments that feel more like extensions of Anyma’s live world than a standalone concept. It’s less about narrative and more about atmosphere, which lines up with what the “ÆDEN” show is supposed to deliver onstage.
For LISA, it’s another step further out of the orbit people expect. She’s been steadily pushing into different spaces outside of BLACKPINK, and this doesn’t feel like a one-off. It feels intentional.

The bigger question now is what Weekend 2 looks like.
Coachella’s second weekend is usually tighter. Artists adjust after the first run, production issues get worked out, and sets either level up or fall flat. In this case, Anyma didn’t get the first attempt at all, which means Weekend 2 becomes the actual debut.
If conditions hold, that April return is where “ÆDEN” finally gets seen the way it was intended, and where “Bad Angel” likely lands in its proper setting.
For now, the track is out, the moment got delayed, and the real test shifts to next weekend.
