Cat Power has expanded The Greatest 20th Anniversary Tour 2026, adding a new run of North American headline dates beginning July 16 in Miami, Florida. The tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of her landmark 2006 album The Greatest, performed live in its entirety with her longtime backing band, Dirty Delta Blues.
Pre-sales for the newly announced shows begin Wednesday, February 25 at 10 a.m. local time, with general on-sale starting Friday, February 27 at 10 a.m. local time via catpowermusic.com.
Already named one of the Most Anticipated Tours of 2026 by Pitchfork and Consequence, The Greatest 20th Anniversary Tour launched earlier this month and has quickly sold out key markets including New York City’s Webster Hall and Paris’ Salle Pleyel. The live run continues across North America through March before returning in July for the expanded leg, then heading to Europe and the United Kingdom through November.
The anniversary shows feature full performances of The Greatest, widely regarded as one of Cat Power’s defining albums. Originally recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis with members of The Memphis Rhythm Band, the album marked a creative breakthrough for Chan Marshall, blending Southern soul arrangements with her signature introspection. Upon release, The Greatest entered the Billboard 200 at No. 34 and was later named one of Rolling Stone’s Top Albums of the 2000s.

The tour expansion follows the release of Redux, a new three-song EP available digitally and on 10-inch vinyl via Domino Recording Company. The project includes a reinterpretation of Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U,” James Brown’s “Try Me,” and a reworked version of “Could We.”
With sold-out shows across major cities and newly added dates stretching from Miami to California, The Greatest 20th Anniversary Tour 2026 underscores the enduring impact of one of indie rock’s most celebrated records.
